K9-CTR™

k9ctrpicK9-CTR™ Capsular Tension Rings have become increasingly important in complicated cataract surgery. The K9-CTR™ offers substantial reduction of intraoperative risk by allowing redistribution of applied force to the entire circumference of the capsule and by stretching the capsular bag. It also prevents vitreous herniation and maintains the circular contour of the capsular bag. K9-CTR™ also tends to reduce intraocular lens (IOL) decentration, which improves visual rehabilitation and gives additional support to the IOL. K9-CTR™ is now offered in two sizes, 13->11mm and 16->14 mm.
