ParaProg®
With the OS3, the user interface is totally separate from the programming interface. ParaProg® runs in the background and is acutely aware of how the OS3 needs to respond to you. You enter all your personal settings on a separate, dedicated ParaProg® monitor in peace and quiet. It is impossible to make programming mistakes, and your selection of presets need not be influenced by any of your 49 colleagues. It offers sufficient individuality for everyone – from the choice of language, through to pedal resistance.

Intelligent Duallinear* Pedal
duallinear-pedal The intelligent Duallinear* pedal for the OS3 is a complete control centre. It will carry out your commands immediately and precisely. The pedal will give you, as the operator, practically full control over the OS3. You decide on which functions you wish to control and how you wish to control these. There are hardly any limitations. You determine the number and position of the pedal settings, as well as the travel resistance between these. You can easily assign different functions to each of these settings, retrieve saved values, switch between the venturi and peristaltic pump, change the intra-ocular pressure, employ diathermy at any time, as well as move from one function to any other. But the precision with which every instrument can be controlled with vertical as well as horizontal foot movements remains paramount in all this. A property the pedal’s appearance doesn’t make obvious! It is small enough to fit everywhere.

DirectAccess®
directaccess Our DirectAccess® operating concept is truly an inspired solution! Just one press of a button, and the OS3 automatically moves into the position that the surgeon requires. No paging through screen menus, no changing screen images, no annoying light source in the darkened operating theatre. Instead, an overview at a single glance, and familiarity of use after the first operation. The DirectAccess® control panel is also mobile and can be used in the sterile field. Try doing the same with a touch screen!
Twin Vac® Cassette
Now you can switch between a true peristaltic pump and a true venturi pump at will during surgery! Greater accommodation of individual surgical techniques is hardly imaginable. The Twin Vac® cassette also holds the secret to excellent chamber stability. The advanced pressure sensor responds to the slightest pressure fluctuations, thus preventing collapses, and dispenses with any risk of contamination. The Twin Vac® cassette is available as a single-use or an autoclavable item.
