Intelligent Technology 

SwissTech does not use operating systems that are prone to error. Instead, we apply direct and reliable process control. SwissTech works with physical concepts and therefore does not need a complex sensor system. No complicated emulsification methods, but finely controlled ultrasound for each degree of hardness. And control is by DirectAccess® without complicated menu navigation. Complex touchscreen techniques are not needed. The tubing set replaces the cassette. The integrated pressure sensor ensures total sterility.

Real portability 

The additional benefit is that it is small and light! CataRhex® SwissTech can be used in the smallest operating theatre. SwissTech only weighs 5.6 kg, is portable and can be installed on each IV pole montiert werden. It can be transported in a pilot suitcase including pedal and instruments and you can take it with you as hand-luggage. This portability makes it possible to use it easily in the most varied operation sites.

Fluidics System

swisstech-fluidicsThe peristaltic pump system of SwissTech beats its competitors! It achieves, without difficulty, the performance levels of a modern venturi system. The vacuum build only takes parts of a second. Whether it is to be vacuumised very finely or with full power, with the SwissTech peristaltic pump the flow is under precise pedal control at all times. Even with very low flow, no rolling effect is detectable.

The appliance of correct scientific principles and the elimination of air in the fluid system are key elements of the great chamber stability of the SwissTech. Therefore, high performance levels for flow and vacuum can be obtained without difficulty. SwissTech is ideal for the easyPhaco® technology!

The patent-registered pressure measuring principle prevents the sensor from contact with the aspiration fluid. The pressure sensor integrated into the tube system eliminates the risk of contamination and is totally free of air.
