Concept

Being able to operate more easily, more safely and more efficiently - this was the idea when developing the OS3. No unnecessary gimmicks, but fully focusing on the essentials instead. Quick, simple and direct surgery without any complicated menu navigation and programming complexity. Instead, immediate access to the required functions.

Flexible and Safe 

OS3 can be purchased simply as an anterior segment unit and later be expanded with the NovitreX module, without any installation costs, into a combination device. With its compact design and small footprint, it also has its place in crowded operating theatres.

The dual pump system is operated via the patent-registered TwinVac® Cassette that works in the anterior and posterior segment at the same time and allows alternation within seconds between venturi and peristaltic.

OS3 is extremely reliable. Thanks to the embedded micro-controller technique, the unit is returned to its original state and ready to operate again immediately after a power cut. This therefore avoids the complexity of micro-computer operating systems that are often prone to disturbances. This accounts for the excellent stability of the OS3 software.

In the case of a drop in the network air pressure, the OS3 switches to peristaltic and continues to operate. Voltage fluctuations between 90V and 250V are no problem. Two independent light systems provide safety in the case of a lamp failure.
